Preparations for our eighth Greater Vernon Healthfest are in full swing. We hope you will enjoy your day, meet many new practitioners, learn about new modalities that may bring your health to the next level, and support the “green groups” of the Vernon area.

We estimate that 1700 people attended the Healthfest of 2015. Feedback from exhibitors is that those attending were asking good in-depth questions and wanted to learn and understand their health options.

The Fair Experience

Exhibitors: In the exhibit areas are 93 tables in two halls where you can meet regional practitioners, ask questions and pick up literature. Areas represented include naturopathy, acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, energy healing, hypnosis, natural childbirth services, woman’s health, life coaching and herbs. In a quieter area a massage, vibrational healing or an energy treatment can be experienced. There is also a section with local environmental organizations and information.

Vendors: Vendors offer holistic health books, natural cleaning products, gems and minerals, herbal products, soaps, teas, green products, and gifts. Our Café provides a place to rest while having lunch or a beverage.

Workshops: There are 40 hourly workshops and demonstrations in four classrooms on a wide range of topics including natural childbirth, Tai Chi, healthy eating, meditation, Yoga, past life therapy, energy healing, weight management and nutrition. A fifth classroom will hold a beautiful floor labyrinth that will be open to all to walk.
